Sam, now based in Denver, is originally from a suburb of a suburb in Minnesota. His small – town naivety and “Minnesota Nice” attitude collides with this not-always-so-nice world to create whimsically hilarious stories and observations that will have you rolling in your seat. Sam started his comedy career in the Pacific Northwest with a parody late-night talk show in college that earned him 2 Northwest Emmy nominations.
Since then, he has been a finalist in both the Oregon Comedy Competition and the Denver Rise Comedy Competition. He also regularly performs at comedy festivals and comedy clubs across the country. His recent web series “Gospel of Sam” was shown at film festivals all over the US and won “Best Web Series” at the Oregon Short Film Festival. He can recently be seen in a Denver Broncos commercial as well, but only if you watch very closely because his dog, a mini aussie named Oatmeal, stole all the screen time.
